Great DJ, top label honcho, talented producer, fabolous radio jock, all-around swell gal - is there anything Colleen Murphy better known to fans of house, disco and assorted psychedelia offshoots as "DJ Cosmo" doesn’t excel at? The onetime Gothamite and current Londoner runs the "Bitches Brew" imprint, records with guitar god Gary Lucas as "Wild Rumpus" (check out their single “Kazan” on the "Mule Musiq" label). Moreover she's behind the "Cosmodelica" show on "Samurai FM" (check it out at samurai.fm/cosmo) and is working with clubbing icon David Mancuso on his "Loft Audiophile Library of Music" label. Next, as the legendary Loft DJ became a friend and musical mentor to Cosmo, she began spinning at "The Loft" alongside people such as Francois K., Lil Louis, Danny Krivit and managed the original "Dancetracks" record store with Joe Clausell. She's also part of her and Ashley Beedle’s Dark Star project. Now she’s busy getting ready for a visit to Zagreb, Croatia to play at Freilauf. Lucky us!!!
