Ilija has been present on the underground disco scene for the past decade. He has collaborated with established artists such as: The REVENGE, Mark E, Random Factor, Greg Wilson, L.S.B. (Pete Herbert & Baby G), Spirit Catcher, The Electric Press, Bubba & T- Bone, Tim Fuller, 1gnition, Simon Baker, Boogie Drama, to name but a few. Besides that, Ilija has released more than 20 records around the globe on various labels, such as: Rong Music, Infant/2020 Vision Recordings, Red-Music Records, Grayhound Recordings, Bombay Records, Deep Freeze, Strobe Music, Exun Records, Grab Recordings, Love Is War Music, Movim Records, Moris Audio, Deeplay Music. Ilija's work has been supported by stars such as Ralph Lawson, Stevie Cotey, Prins Thomas, Todd Terje, Andy Whittaker (2020), Pete Herbert, Garth – Grayhound and Chris Duckenfield to name but a few.
Ilija originally perceived production as it was 20 years ago, pure analogue sound, as authentic as it could be to get the desired sound, using Moogs, Prophets, Oberheims, and today he works in his vintage analogue Studio in Croatia, ‘RedRoom’. Running his Eclectic-Disco label Red-Music Records since 2003, Ilija continues to release new vinyl every month. Red Music hosts artists such as: Carl Finlow, Spirit Catcher, Bonar Bradberry, The Electric Press, PBR Streetgang and Ilija himself.
Ilija guested on two albums in 2007, firstly on Spirit Catcher’s track ‘Night Vision’ and secondly Phonique’s latest album on the track ‘Inside’. Recently he gave his trademark remix on Ignition's ‘Secret Sunday Lover’, for Marcus J Knight's new label ‘Love Is War Music’, and continued with delivering his sound on Love Is War’s current release, ‘After Midnight’ (LIWM002), where Greg Wilson does a superb edit on this classic track.
As a DJ, Ilija's also been spinning records since he got into production, for almost 10 years. Recently he has been doing gigs all over Europe, at places such as Weekend in Berlin, Red Light in Paris, Dirty Dancing in Belgium, D-Edge in Sao Paolo to name a few.
